Alongside the normal everyday doctors surgery this medical centre also caters for people recovering from orthopaedic procedures and injuries. There are consultation rooms, a chiropractic suite and a physiotherapy room. The main concept for this design are the joints and replacement joints of the human body. Transforming Space 1

Brief: Design a retail/hospitality outlet which combines two different retail phenomena and to create a lighting plan.

Outcome: A bar in the Zellig Building for young professionals, to bring more diverse people to Digbeth as it is an up and coming area within Birmingham. The main concept for the bar is abandonment with luxury aspects within the furniture and fixtures. The bar transforms into a shop during the day, which will sell lesser known, but high-end, brands of alcohol and cocktail kits so people will have a chance to learn and discover new brands. Having both a day and night business within the same space increases the amount of customers to experience the Abandoned Bar. The space is divided into two areas so that more people will enjoy the bar and then be able to buy the product either during the day when the space is a shop or in the evening whilst they are enjoying the drinks in the evening.
